Background
Maybe it’s an Australian thing, but there is a very strong connection between birds and chips (or fries). The situation involves going to the beach, maybe getting some fish and chips from a local place, and then sitting in the park to eat them. The situation then involves seagulls, usually far more than one, gathering around you. As if you had something important to say, and then either expecting your chips, or by taking them by force. This cartoon takes it one step further.
