Background
Talk back. Urgh. If you listen long enough, the thing the host said at the start of the episode will likely be contradicted by the host multiple times before you get to the end of the episode. This post was also partly inspired by the people at Fox News in the USA, who, it seems, were pushing one story on air, while believing something completely different off-air. But, for Australians, I think there’s something instantly identifiable about the balding, John Laws/Alan Jones-like talk-back host.
