Wedding season

"Pigeons! It’s wedding season again."
“I live South these days, but I come up North for seasonal work."
“Ugh, tacky.”

It’s a triple header! Over the summer, it seems like no matter where I look, there is a wedding happening. I feel as though this is universal around the world. The moment the weather gets good, the weddings begin. With this series of cartoons, I wanted to play with this idea, but adding a twist by putting it in a medieval setting involving a considerable amount of carrier pigeons.
Here’s the deeper breakdown. The first cartoon sets the scene and does the joke from an observer’s perspective. It also sets up the idea that a load of pigeons would be stuck in the air delivering wedding invites. The second cartoon then takes the perspective of the pigeons, which ties in with the idea of people who are retired, but come back to work in the high season. The third cartoon takes the perspective of the reciever of the invitations, and puts the joke of tacky wedding invites next to the idea of a pigeon delivering those invites.
Oh, and as for why there are three today, well I felt they all tied together and wouldn’t work as well singularly.
